This is a comprehensive two-day course (blended learning is available which reduces your in class time by 50%), that offers first aid and CPR skills for employment or educational requirements, or for anyone who would like to know how to respond to emergencies at home. This course meets legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards and includes the latest first aid/CPR guidelines.

The BLS (basic life support) is for Healthcare Providers or anyone in the Healthcare industry that requires this level of Certification.​

Instructor: Red Cross First Aid Instructor or Instructor Trainer

Completion Requirements: You must attend both days , demonstrate the skills taught, and receive a 75% min. passing grade on the written exam

Certification You Receive: 3-year certification in Standard First Aid, CPR Level A or C

Recertification: 6–9 hours; includes CPR Level A or C; adheres to local legislation

  • Includes any other content required by specific legislation

You will take-home:

  • First Aid & CPR Manual
  • Certification card and optional wall certificate (or as required by legislation)
